Alexa Sowers

Alexa's classical studies began with Dr. Kathryn March. Several years later she began studying under Dr. Paul Wirth and her passion for piano was ignited.
Alexa has won first prize at the Norwestern College Piano Competition in St, Paul, MN, and first prize 2 years consecutively at the Genevieve Trurin Piano Competition. She has participated in the Northwestern College Piano Institute 2 years, the Young Artist World Piano Festival, St. Paul, MN, for 3 years, and the Amalfi Coast Music Festival in Italy as well as having been active as a church pianist. She is currently studying under Dr. Ksenia Nosikova. In addition to piano, Alexa has studied voice with Dr. Kate Saulsbury and Shannon Salyards.
